Do I price carpet cleaning per room or per area?

Either works. Use rooms, sq ft or m² as the unit. Put stain treatment on its own line.

Should furniture cleaning be a separate line?

Yes. Upholstery and stain work are easier to explain when they are not mixed into the room price.

What tax name should I use?

Use sales tax, VAT, GST or GST/HST to match the region selector. We do not fill a rate.

Glossary: invoice, tax invoice, bond cleaning, turnover

invoice. An invoice is the bill you send after cleaning work, listing each service and the amount due.

tax invoice. A tax invoice is an invoice that shows GST (or similar) so a customer can claim the tax — common wording in Australia.

bond cleaning. Bond cleaning is a thorough clean at the end of a lease so a tenant can ask for the bond back.

turnover cleaning. Turnover cleaning is the clean between Airbnb guests: beds, towels, restock and a same-day turnaround if needed.
